The Year Ahead 2012 with Maggie Hyde. 2012 falls into a rare pattern of Uranus and Pluto contacts that occurred in the counter-culture of the 1960s, and before then in the 1930s. This year, their contact happens in both June and September, and then five times in the following years. These modern planets have also entered new signs, bringing changes in the collective psyche. Pluto challenged capitalistic Capricorn in 2008-09 and Uranus in Aries triggered the Arab spring in March 2011. This year, Neptune asks us to question further our views of reality when it enters Pisces in February. We will look at 2012 for the prevailing zeitgeist, especially its economics and at how the individual needs to be independent, debt-free and ready to adapt in life and love.
